Hudson at 6 months - Quad Cities Baby Photographer

 OH.MY.GOSH...

Isn't Hudson the CUTEST 6 month old ever?!?!!

I can't believe it has been 6 months since he entered the world!  I was able to be there for that special time and photograph as his Mommy labored and as everyone met him.  I got to photograph him at just  a few days old and then again at 3 months!  How awesome...I ADORE documenting his first year and just when I think he can't get any cuter...he goes and does this!

Ya, it's almost too much cuteness to handle!

And this boy is so loved by so many!
Some Mama Love...

He is definitely SUPER...if I do say so myself!

He makes the cutest Batman ever!

And his message for all of the evil villains...

I feel so much safer knowing Sweet Huddy is protecting the city!

Super Hero, Future Bradley Alumni...who know?!

A CEO holding IMPORTANT business meetings with his staff...he's practicing up!
He can do anything he wants!

Or maybe a model with his good looks!  Only hopefully not nude. Ha!

The sky is the limit for this jack of all trades! ;)

Thank you again and again guys for allowing me to capture your sweet little man as he grows!  I look forward to each time I get to see him!

The Bachmans - Quad Cities Family Photographer

The Bachman Family have been in front of my lens 3 times now.  They are one of the most photogenic families I have ever photographed!

They are just as beautiful in person as they are in these images too!  It's hard to believe they make families this beautiful isn't it?! :)

There are some families that just know what to do in front of the camera...this is one of them!

And the kids...love it when I photograph kids that are so full of personality!  It makes for awesome images like THIS...

And the ladder...the ladder caused several minutes of fun! :)

We picked a location in downtown Davenport for their session...it didn't occur to any of us to remember the Bix at 6.  Oops!  You would never know by looking at these images that downtown was a mad house and we had several gawkers! lol

They were all troopers and it didn't seem to bother a one of them!

They make beautiful children, no doubt!

The handsome boys of the family...

The gorgeous girls of the family...

I love a family that loves each other, snuggles in and wraps their arms around each other without any coercing.  Most siblings aren't so willing!

Thank you again, Bachman Family for spending some time with me in the chaos downtown!  You all were so laid back about it and so much fun to photograph as usual!

Tammy Frank : Certified Health Coach - Quad Cities Photographer

I met Tammy a few years ago when I photographed her beautiful family.  I have since photographed them again and when Tammy contacted me asking me to photograph some images for her new venture, I was ecstatic!  You see, Tammy exudes beauty...from the inside out.  There is a light about her.  She is such an incredible person and she is one of those people that you can see it, you can feel it the minute you look into her eyes.

So I believe this new venture for her is going to be so incredible and a smashing success!  She has been a nurse for many years and is going to be starting her new private practice in Cedar Rapids as a Certified Health Coach.  She will also be working with the soon to be opening Honest Wellness Center here in the Quad Cities.

You guys, she is so knowledgeable and so loving and genuine and so easy to talk to!  Trust me, I could have chatted with her after our photo shoot for hours!  She cares...whole heartedly, she cares and loves people and is going to do amazing things and change so many peoples' lives.  I have no doubt!

She is so fun and full of energy and joy!  I found myself trying to squeeze all of the information I could out of her while I was with her!  And she was full of information and knowledge and gave me a sense of hope and confidence in my own journey to health that I have recently begun...all while we were standing outside of her car before she drove away after our session!

"Everyone has a story."
You bet we do!  And our stories shape us and influence all of our decisions...good and bad.
I learned that not only is Tammy going to benefit the health of others in the way that most of us look at "health", but also she is going to help her patients' inner health, the health of their soul...just by being her compassionate, loving self...she is good for the soul! :)

She is love...

She is beautiful...

She is inspiring energy...

Thank you, Tammy for allowing me to capture these images of you!  It's been a blessing to get to know you better and I look forward to watching your successes in this new journey!  There is no person that I can imagine doing a better job in this new role as you will!

Rock the Shot July Photo Challenge - Summer Vacation

I am not sure there is an image I have captured that screams "Summer Vacation" more than this one!  The sea, the sand, the sun and spending time with family.  That is what this image depicts!  I captured this moment for my dear friend Jamie while our families were on our summer vacation together a few weeks ago to commemorate the first moment her son, Jaxson saw the ocean...the first time he felt the salty sea water and squishy sand between his toes.

When I saw that Rock the Shot was doing a July Photo Challenge for "Summer Vacation" images, I knew I wanted to enter this image.  I have never entered an image into a photo challenge before, but this situation just seemed too perfect! :)

Sam's Maternity Session - Quad Cities Maternity Photographer

About 2 years ago, Sam started working with my littlest as his teacher.  She would come into my home and love on my baby and was so amazing with him.  Over the course of the time she worked with him, we got to know each other better and I knew she was someone I wanted to be friends with.  She was always so professional and so I wasn't sure if it was "ok" for us to be friends.  My baby turned 3 and he moved onto the next phase of his education and Sam was no longer his teacher...within months our husbands met, our kids met and what I knew would happen did!  We became friends...and as an added bonus, our husbands have now become friends and enjoy spending time together and our kids do too!  We are so excited for her to welcome another little girl into her family!

Sam wasn't super interested in maternity pictures the first time I mentioned it, but if you know me at all, you know that I can be pushy.  I insisted.  I pushed.  I drove her crazy.  Finally, I texted her and said, "Meet me and X location at 7:15 tomorrow night with Eden.  We are taking your maternity pictures."  She listened...smart woman. ;)

And I managed to get lots of pictures of Eden as well while she's still the only child...

She is excited as everyone else for her little sister to arrive!

Aren't you glad you listened, Sam?!  I usually know what I'm talking about! :)

Now, if I can just talk you into letting me photograph your birth!  I'm not giving up!!!

Thanks for listening to me, Sam!  Can't wait for sweet baby "Judy" to arrive and to have her officially in front of my lens!!!  And seriously, you NEED your birth photographed...like I said, I know what I am talking about! ;)
