Sierra - Quad Cities Senior Portrait Photographer

The weather couldn't have been more perfect for Sierra's session!  And each time I meet a new senior, I am amazed at how beautiful yet another one is and how photogenic they all are!  Sierra was no different!  So fun and sweet and I loved photographing her!

Laughter is the best thing to photograph...and looks good on everyone!

This shot is at the top as one of my favorite senior portrait shots I've captured!  Love the joy on Sierra's face, the beautiful flowering tree and the vibrant colors!

It was so fun to learn of Sierra's plans for her future.  She has big dreams and after just a couple of hours into meeting her, I know that these dreams are attainable for her.  She knows what she wants...I love that!

Such a fun afternoon with such a fun and beautiful girl!

It was such a pleasure to meet you, Sierra!  I am so honored to have photographed you.  You are beautiful inside and out!  Your future is bright and I wish you only the best as you enter this new chapter in your life!

Margaret - Quad Cities Senior Portrait Photographer

I have had the most incredible seniors to photograph this spring!  They just keep coming...I feel so lucky to get to photograph all of these awesome seniors as they are about to enter a new season of life.

Margaret and her mother were SO FUN to spend the afternoon and evening with.  And Margaret killed it.  She just knew what to do in front of the camera.

I love catching those moments between shots...often they are some of the most beautiful!

I think I squealed in joy and excitement several times during Margaret's session...the breeze was so perfect at times and the golden light mixed with her gorgeousness...gahhh!  Love!

It doesn't usually take too long to get comfortable with my seniors.  We were joking around so much at this point in the session...I don't even know why I say some of the things I do, but at least it spawns laughs sometimes!  I usually don't think and say something ridiculous right when I am wanting my subject to have a serious expression.  This was one of those moments...Margaret pulled it together and worked it though.  You should have heard her mother and I on the other side of the camera though.  So funny!

It just doesn't get more beautiful than this!

I mean, c'mon!  Ridiculous beauty right here!

It seems like at the end of really great sessions, I just want to keep shooting and hanging out and laughing with my clients.  Margaret's session was just like that...we were just having fun!

Thank your Margaret and Kim for spending the evening with me and Margaret for being such a gorgeous subject!  It was so fun to hear about your future plans.  You are going to do amazing things and I wish you only the best as you graduate and start this new chapter in your life!

Ellie - Quad Cities Senior Portrait Photographer

It was such a beautiful day when I photographed this gorgeous senior!  I had a ton of fun meeting Ellie and her mother and my camera loved Ellie. :)  I always seem to say this, but it is just so amazing how I get to call this "work" and how all of the most beautiful Seniors end up standing in front of my lens!  So fun!

Ellie made my job EASY!  We just hung out and snapped some pictures along the way!

And we laughed...a lot.

Laughter makes for the best pictures though!

I'm pretty sure I let out several squeals throughout the session as I was snapping pictures.  I am not good at keeping my excitement contained. This was one of those moments where I squealed...because this...

And I remember squealing after these pictures too!  Ha!

Oh ya, and these too!  Because Ellie looks like a straight up model!

If you know me, you know I was thrilled to hear that Ellie plans to go to college at the University of Iowa!  Woohoo!  Our family bleeds black and gold...GO HAWKEYES!

I'd say black and gold looks good on her!

It was such a pleasure to meet you, Ellie.  You were a joy to photograph and get to know!  You have a bright future ahead of you and I wish you only the best...and GO HAWKS!
