Katie - Quad Cities Senior Portrait Photographer

Katie will be graduating this year, so it was time for her Senior Portraits!  Boy did we have a good time!

First of all, when a beautiful girl like Katie steps in front of my lens, it's almost always going to be a good day, but add to that the fact that she was fun and open to anything made for a laid back session that felt as though we were just hanging out!

I've known Katie's mom for a year now and was super thrilled when she approached me about doing Katie's Senior Portraits!  We roamed around a local park and downtown Davenport for a few hours together and laughed so much that we struggled to get any images where Katie wasn't smiling huge!

I'm glad we got a few though...

We even managed to grab a few images with Katie's best furry friend, Ebby!  I don't know about you, but I would say that Ebby is smiling in these pictures for sure!

We went to some of my favorite spots and Katie even climbed ladders with wedges on...talent, I tell ya!

At this point, we were pretty much crossing our fingers that all of the "greenery" Katie was stepping in wasn't poison ivy!  Yikes...I might need to increase my knowledge on identifying that nasty stuff!

We absolutely couldn't do the session without showing some of Katie's silly side.  After all, Senior Portraits are supposed to represent who the senior is at that point in their life and Katie is not only beautiful, but fun and silly!

It's so fun to chat with seniors when I do their sessions...to learn what their plans for the future are.  Katie is going to change lives someday for children who need their worlds brightened in the midst of fear and struggle.

Katie, you have such a bright future ahead of you!  Keep those glasses girl, I know you'll get more use out of them in your future!  Best wishes as you enter your Senior year and beyond...and thank you for letting me capture your joy and beauty in pictures!

The Link Family - Quad Cities Family Photographer

I was super excited when Amy contacted me about photographing her family.  Amy is such an amazing person and has been so wonderful since we met her a few years ago when she worked with our son before, during and after his transplant.  She helped us so much.  She is such a good person and I knew that her family would be amazing too.

Boy was I right!

A picture perfect family!

They were all so wonderful to spend some time with.  Such great kids...it was at least 137 degrees out this evening and they never complained once!

Okay, maybe Jackson complained for just a split second when I mentioned that I was going to make them all kiss each other!  Ha!

Morgan was a dream...and with that sparkle in her eyes and those adorable freckles, I could have photographed her all day!

Jackson was so incredibly cooperative and kind.  What boy his age likes getting their pictures taken?  Not many!  He was amazing...never showing any discontent with having a camera in his face. :)

Sophia is at that age that I adore photographing and she did not disappoint.  The missing tooth, the freckles, the sparkle in her eyes...man, she is a DOLL!

The kids are only so amazing because of their awesome parents...

It was hot you guys, like SUPER hot and steamy, but this family still smiled, laughed and at least ACTED like they were having fun through it all!

I sure had fun photographing them!

Thank you guys for making the trip to the Quad Cities...I am so thrilled I had the pleasure of photographing you.   You are an amazing family, beautiful inside and out!

Jake's Senior Portraits - Quad Cities Senior Portrait Photographer

I have been super fortunate to have amazing seniors to photograph...especially amazing Senior boys!  I love photographing Senior girls as they tend to be more willing to be photographed, but no one can deny that typically boys at this age aren't super fond of getting their pictures taken.  However, I haven't had a problem....all of mine have been so cooperative and willing to be in front of my lens!  Jake was no different...I really enjoyed my time with him and he was so cooperative and kind and willing to do whatever I asked!  I'm growing to really love Senior Portraits as it's so much different from the family portrait sessions I tend to be so busy with!

Jake's passion is golf...he plays for the golf team and definitely wanted to represent his passion for golf in his Senior Portraits.  So, the first place we went was the golf course!  It couldn't have been a more beautiful morning for it!

Jake has a plan for his future, he is a smart, easy going boy that will do great things in life.

I have a feeling he'll be wearing  a lot black and gold in his future...well, at least I was trying to talk him into it!

No matter where he goes, it doesn't take a genius to see that he is going to be successful.  He has a bright future ahead of him for sure!

Thank you, Jake for making my job yesterday morning so enjoyable!  I enjoyed getting to know you and spending the morning with you!  Best wishes as you complete your last year of high school and head out on your journey to college!  Can't wait to hear of all of your successes in the future!

The Bachman Family - Quad Cities Family Photographer

This family is always so picture perfect!

The kids have changed and grown so much in the last 2 years since I started photographing them. :)

Carly is all girl...love that smile of hers!

Nate has dimples for miles!

Jake is one good looking guy!

Mom and Dad have a lot to be proud of with these 3 kids...it's clear where their kids get their good looks from!

Daddy Love....the boys of the family....

Mommy Love...the girls of the family...

I mean, c'mon...how handsome is he?!?!!

That face...

Those eyes, that smile...

I'm pretty sure this family can't take a bad picture!

Thank you, Bachmans yet again for spending an evening with me so I could capture your family in pictures!  It is always a pleasure and you make this gig hard for me to call "work".  I love having you in front of my lens and seeing how your family changes each year!
