Jaida Rose: 1 Day New! - Quad Cities Infant Photographer

See that beautiful baby bump that graces my header?

Her name is Jaida Rose and she is perfection.

Jay and Kandis invited me to the hospital the day after Jaida arrived to photograph some candid shots of their new little miracle and family...what an honor!

Have you seen such perfection?!?!  And at 1 day new!

Wow...

 

And these 2 know it.  There just isn't anything like seeing a new baby and the adoration of it's parents.  It is a sight to behold.

And I was so happy that BOTH sets of grandparents were there while I photographed the new Bower Family as well.  All of these people are wonderful and it was so fun to spend a short time with them during this super special time!

I loved every second of being in this moment with Jay, Kandis and Jaida.  I am thrilled they opted to do a photosession at the hospital as well as an infant session at their home (which I'll be doing tomorrow!) to capture these moments that oftentimes go undocumented or with very little documentation.

 

All of the little details at the hospital that we don't always remember without this documentation are so special.

 

I have to say though, that what is so special and frequently is put in the background amidst all of the oooing and ahhhing over the new bundle, is the new found love that a new mommy has for her husband.  I loved capturing little Jaida and watching Jay and Kandis melt at the sight of her.  What I think I may remember most though, is when Jay left the room and Kandis stopped me to tell me how amazing he is, how incredible it is to see him as a father and how much she loves him.  Of all of the moments from that time spent with her and her new family, that moment is one I will remember most.  That relationship between she and Jay is the foundation of their new family.  The love they have for EACH OTHER will spill over and make even more meaningful that love they have for Jaida.  The most important thing a mom and dad can do for their kids is to love each other.

And these two do.

Jay, Kandis and Jaida.  I don't know that you truly understand how honored I was to be brought into the hospital during this special time to capture it for you.  It touches me so much that you allowed me into that moment.  It has been a pleasure meeting you and getting to know you and I couldn't be happier for you all!  I pray that the love you feel for each other only gets stronger as time goes on.  It is apparent to anyone in your presence and Jaida is so blessed to be able to witness that love between her Mommy and Daddy for the rest of her life!

I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow...treasure every moment of your first day home!
