I think there are just some people that it seems like you meet by chance, but really, I don't believe anything happens by chance. We cross paths with each person for a reason big or small. I met this beauty's mom because she is a friend of a friend of a friend. :) However, it took about 10 seconds for Amber to just feel like my friend. And her daughter...wowzer, I could have stolen this one! ;)
Meet 4 month old Samone...
This was pretty much a dream session.
Beautiful, happy, smiley baby girl.
Outfits galore layed out for ME to choose.
Bows to match every outfit imagineable.
A mom who literally walked away and let me do my thing no questions asked.
A mom who was right there to help when I needed her to calm a fussy baby, prop up a floppy baby, adjust a bow, etc.
A super fun, awesome mom who I got to chat with for the entire session while photographing her super cooperative daughter.
Yup, it was a dream I tell ya!
You see, I was meant to meet this family.
They are going through some pretty heavy stuff right now and I was just so touched by them. Their strength and faith is astounding and leaves me in awe.
This is one blessed little girl to have such an amazing set of parents.
And at her young 4 months of age, she is strong...you can see it in her eyes and when you meet her, you can see it in her demeanor.
I believe I was meant to meet this family for more than one reason. However, I know that meeting them was a reminder to me to always hug the ones I love extra tight.
Life here on earth is hard and it is fleeting. Whether we leave this earth to be with our Heavenly Father at 5, 10, 25, 45, 85 or 105 years of age, it's fleeting in comparison to eternity. It's hard to wrap our minds around that when times are tough and when something happens that makes us really see just how fragile life is. As long as we set our sights on our eternity, pains are much more bearable.
I know that little Samone arrived in God's perfect timing. Everything happens as part of the unltimate plan He has for us and though we may not see it in the moment or ever understand it while on this earth, it will all make sense someday.
I know that Samone's Mommy and Daddy know how unbelievably special she is, what a gift she is to them to help provide strength and hope during this tough time...to give them a reason to fight.
What a special girl she is!
Sweet Samone, you were a pleasure to look at through my lens and to hold in my arms!
What a special hour I had in Samone's home.
Thank you, Wires Family for allowing me into your world and sharing your daughter with me for an hour. Amber, I hope you know what a true pleasure it was to meet you and spend some time with you. You are such a strong woman and your family is in my prayers!
Many Blessings to you all!!!
